Mycelium grows through the soil, nourishes and protects plants through the roots, and digests fallen trees. You walk past masses of mycelium every day without noticing it. The PSBR grow kit brings the mycelium from the forest to your living room and makes the invisible visible.

Ook onzichtbaar is de grote hoeveelheid plastic die wordt gebruikt bij het kweken van paddenstoelen. PSBR ontwikkelt een bioplastic welke op locatie verwerkt kan worden tot vruchtbare compost. In plaats van plastic afval kan er aarde gemaakt worden: precies zoals de paddenstoelen het willen hebben!

the mushroom
Mijn naam is Ronald Postma. Ik ben half Slowaaks, en al voordat ik oud genoeg was om te praten leerde ik dat iedereen heel blij werd als er een boleet werd gevonden. Al snel kende ik meer paddenstoelen dan woorden. Toen ik jaren geleden ook leerde om zelf paddenstoelen te kweken, ontstak dat een passie die nu PSBR is geworden: een ode aan de paddenstoel.
